RIDING LESSONS
Develop your horse riding skills, we offer a range of group or private lessons, catering for all levels of abilities. All our instructors are BHS qualified in our full size school.
RIDING TUTITION
Rachel is an excellent coach and is available to all liveries for lessons (additional charges apply). If you are interested in bringing your horse to AC for a lesson that is also possible. We are sorry, we don’t offer riding lessons as all of our horses are owned by individuals and are generally not suitable for beginners.
Rachel
Rachel has worked in the horse industry for 16 years; for the majority of her equine career she worked as head girl at RAC Saddle Club Bovington where she achieved her BHS IV and her AI along side teaching a wide range of both adults and children. She is still an active instructor for the South Dorset Hunt Pony Club.Â
In 2018 she left Bovington Equestrian to start AC Equestrian and the journey continues at Goldcombe.Â
Rachel’s main passion is schooling and creating rehab programs for horses that have have been injured or have demonstrated specific weaknesses. She also loves improving horse and rider combinations through regular training.Â
Rachel is highly experienced in the medical care of horses post injury and during illness having due to managed many such cases over the course of her career.Â
Her knowledge and understanding of individual horses nutritional and routine needs can be seen on the board at AC where each horse has their own ‘menu’ – reviewed regularly depending on condition and time of year.
Rachel overseas all yard operations and works closely with Vic to ensure that all AC continues to offer the best facilities and care for all riders and their horses.Â
